About Mindhub Hypnotherapy

Hello, I appreciate that choosing to work with someone new may feel a bit daunting when you don’t know them from Adam. So here’s a bit of info about me... With a degree in Psychology, my fascination in the human mind was grounded at a young age. After spending my early career in the world of brand and design, I later turned my attention toward the in-house development of the organisation’s people and employee engagement and retention. This is where I developed my love of coaching and helping individuals and teams overcome barriers to improve their performance and develop their potential.

I honed these skills with an organisational development company, where I completed certified NLP Practitioner and Master Practitioner qualifications, helping to deliver training programmes and 1-1 coaching for organisations managing change. After getting married and having children, I set up my own business and used my skills to coach individuals and help them make positive changes in their lives. I was constantly amazed at how simple, yet powerful NLP coaching techniques could be at helping people get unstuck and transform their lives. But as I worked with more people, I noticed that clients were experiencing challenges and levels of stress and anxiety that I simply felt ill-equipped to help them with at a meaningful level. I had always been fascinated in clinical hypnosis since studying it during my degree and so decided that I would train to become a clinical hypnotherapist.  Fast forward a few years and I’m delighted to be using my knowledge as a clinical hypnotherapist and coach to equip my clients with new skills and tools to effectively deal with the challenges they face and make lasting, positive changes in their lives, too.

My training…

I trained as a clinical hypnotherapist with the highly regarded Anglo European College of Therapeutic Hypnosis where I received comprehensive, evidence based clinical hypnotherapy training and qualified with the industry leading Hypnotherapy in Practitice Diploma. I am registered with the National Council for Hypnotherapy and undertake regular CPD (Continued Professional Development) and I also have further training and expertise in the use of ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy). I also work with the UK Hypnotherapy Council and assist the team with the organisation of the UK Hypnosis Convention, the UK’s largest professional hypnosis conference, which takes place on an annual basis.

There are hundreds of hypnotherapists out there offering their skills and expertise and so in addition to checking their credentials, it’s really important to work with someone who you feel comfortable with and who you think can meet your needs. I appreciate that on top of the concerns you may have which have led you to this page, choosing the ‘right’ therapist may seem a little daunting. So, in addition to offering a FREE phone consultation where we can start to get to know each other, I’ve listed a few points below that may help to make the decision easier for you.

We’ll work well together if you’re looking for a hypnotherapist who…

  • Is fully qualified and holds a highly accredited Hypnotherapy in Practice Diploma verified by the NCH (National Council for Hypnotherapy) and the NCFE and meets the criteria set by the National Occupation Standards.

  • Is an experienced coach / change worker and holds NLP Practitioner and Master Practitioner qualifications.

  • Has successfully helped others alleviate stress and anxiety and regain more balance in their life.

  • Has successfully helped others overcome irregular sleeping patterns and achieve more physical and mental relaxation for a better night’s sleep.

  • Has successfully helped others to nurture and promote a healthy self-esteem and challenge unhelpful, negative thinking patterns.

  • Has successfully helped others overcome a fear or phobia that’s been holding them back.

  • Has successfully helped others break through mental and emotional barriers to achieve their performance goals.

  • Has a wealth of experience in my previous career working in the marketing/HR industry dealing with ‘real life’ individual and business challenges.

  • Has been around the block, through a number of life transitions, tricky patches and can identify with feeling stuck.

  • Has ‘off’ days, just like everyone else.

If any of this resonates with you, then I’d love to chat with you to better understand your needs and how I may be able to help you.
